Logo Design and Event Organisation

Once again I was asked to design the next IVRPA conference logo, in completely exotic and different country, where I have never been. All I knew about Iceland was it had great scenic landscapes of ice and vulcanoes. This time I had a bigger challenge.

After several sketches, someone suggested I should get inspiration from some beautiful Icelandic ice caves and from their deep bluish tones.

And that was it! Starting point was an ice cave image and from there I jumped to blue tone irregular curves. Once again the connection to panoramic photography lies in the circular curves that represent the concentric movement from the cameras and photographers.
